An evening with Black (2)

Date:
31 August 2010

As you may be aware, last week we mailed the Blacklist about 'An evening with Black' that's taking place on 30th October. The response was fast and furious which was great for some but very disappointing for many others (sorry about that Paypal link not working - we'll know better next time).

So we've added an extra 'evening with' for the 29th. It's the same deal as before; you get the exclusive chance to visit a London recording studio, be one of only 25 people in the audience attending a Black concert which will be recorded and filmed. We will provide liquid refreshments and snacks. The atmosphere will be relaxed and informal and it will be an opportunity to be with Colin in a social and work setting and have a chat after the performance. You take away a CD of that night's live recording and some unique (just made) memories and then, a couple of weeks later receive an edited DVD of the show. We may also invite you into the control room to hear some of the unmixed backing tracks we've been recording - but we're not going to guarantee that for obvious reasons.

We're going to make a slight difference to the way we make the tickets available because it seems that not everyone spends their entire working lives connected to their email and many missed out because of this. So this time, we're announcing it now, but not making the webpage and Paypal link available until 16:00 (UK time) on Thursday 2nd September. The link to the page is here but if you click before then all you'll get is a 404 'Page not found' so you'll have to wait - anticipation is part of the fun eh?

The date: 29th October (Friday)
The time: 19.00 - 22.00
The cost: £150.00 (including VAT) per person
The venue: The Aquarium, 14-16 Chaplin Road, London, NW2 5PN

Tel. No.: +44 (0) 20 8451 6767

The small print: Tickets are sold on a non-refundable, first come, first served basis. By attending this event you give your permission to be filmed and that your image may be used in a final edited product which may be made available world-wide. Professional recording studios are expensive and easily damaged environments so admission will be at the discretion of the studio management.
