Well I admit that Colin has been silent for some time and there has been no 'real' news for a year, but no news can be good news. Black has now contacted me, writing the following:
All is busy, busy, busy here one way or another - the new LP is finished pending mastering and some record company or other caring enough about it to give it the help it needs. I can't do it all through Nero Schwarz so the search begins. Provisionally titled "The Accused" it contains 10 songs and has been in the nature of an exorcism for me. Early reactions have been that this is the best work I've done for 10 years or more. If this continues, who knows we might see me back in the game?
It all sounds very exciting, especially when Black is indicating over on the Questions & Answers page that he's returning to the "big" sound of his albums "Wonderful life" and "Comedy".
In other news, Colin and his wife Camilla are expecting a second child in January. It seems that Colin will be getting a well-deserved successful year in 1999, both in his personal and professional life.
