The artist formerly known as Black quietly dominated the stage and delivered an excellent set. Returning to Glasgow after 15 years, Vearncombe seemed totally immersed in his songs, especially during Ask Her and Leaving Song. Classic hit Wonderful Life was one of the last tracks played and the melancholy interpretation was greeted by an appreciative silence.
