This website started in 1996 as the Black Homepage. The page featured information about the career of Black, a full discography and a few photographs. In three years the homepage grew into a website, hosted at different url's until in 1999 the domain colinvearncombe.nl was launched. Maintained by Dutch fan Marcel Rijs all this time, the website was the first to announce Colin's comeback album 'The accused' and also started to collect articles that were published in magazines, newspapers and website ever since the start of Black's career.
In 2005, after a couple of years of inactivity, colinvearncombe.nl folded. A new website, bsideblack.com (now singleblackspot.com) had appeared and seemed to offer much of the same information. Plus Colin's official website, colinvearncombe.com, had become a better source for news and announcements. Also, Marcel didn't have enough time to maintain a handful of websites - right now, he's also the webmaster of Wilde Life (the official Kim Wilde fansite) and Music on Vinyl.
Flash forward a few years... New techniques have made it easier to create and maintain websites. Thus the decision was made to reinstate colinvearncombe.nl. With a new look and more information than ever, this website will be active at least until September 2013. All the old information is here again - plus a lot of extra and new things.
